Dance teacher, choreographer,

principal dancer of the

Béjart Ballet.

Born in Kyiv, Kateryna Shalkina studied at the Kyiv State Ballet School, earning a state diploma in classical dance. In 2002, she completed her studies at the Kyiv University of the Arts with a degree as a classical dance teacher and choreographer.

At the age of 15, she joined the National Opera of Ukraine and performed as a soloist in Swan Lake, The Nutcracker,

and The Sleeping Beauty.

She continued her training at the Béjart Rudra School in Lausanne, where she explored modern dance, traditional dances, percussion, and singing. In 2003, Maurice Béjart invited her to join the Béjart Ballet Lausanne, where she became a principal dancer for 15 years.

In 2014, she performed the role of The Beautiful Slave in Le Corsaire with the Ballet du Capitole in Toulouse. She has danced on the world’s greatest stages, including the Paris Opera, La Scala in Milan, and the Bolshoi Theatre. She has participated in many Gala des Étoiles events and received several prestigious awards, including the Étoile prize at Ballet 2000.

In 2017, she created Kovcheg at GogolFest in Kyiv and joined the Ballet du Capitole in Toulouse as a soloist.

In 2020, together with her husband Oscar Chacon, she created Opus d’Amour in Neuchâtel.

Alongside her dance career, she teaches classical ballet, notably at the International Ballet School, the Swiss Skating School, and RG Lucens. Since 2020, she has served as the educational and artistic director of Beau Ballet school, where she directs end-of-year performances with over 300 students. In 2022, she founded the PHP Ballet Intensive program for young dancers.

✨️With over 15 years of experience, Ornella Capece is a professional dancer, teacher, and international judge. She has performed on the world’s most prestigious stages, including nearly 10 years at the Grand Théâtre de Genève, dancing in over 400 ballets and contemporary creations. Her standout performances include The Nutcracker, Romeo & Juliet, Tristan & Isolde, and Carmina Burana, under the direction of Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Jiri Kylián, Benjamin Millepied, and Andonis Foniadakis.

✨️Trained at the Balletschule Hamburg Ballett under the direction of John Neumeier, she further refined her technique during an intensive program at Canada’s National Ballet School. Her technical excellence and artistic mastery make her a recognized figure in the dance world.

✨️She has performed in over 100 cities worldwide, from New York to Shanghai, and now brings her expertise to the stage as a competition judge, notably at the Golden Bee International Dance Competition.

✨️As a classical dance teacher at the École de Danse de Genève, Ornella is also a strength training coach for Dauphins Synchro Vernier and helps young dancers prepare for auditions.

✨️A keen and caring eye: thanks to her stage experience and deep understanding of dance, Ornella Capece evaluates movement mastery, musicality, interpretation, and stage presence with precision and passion.

✨️As a teacher, dancer, and judge, she is fully committed to sharing and uplifting the art of choreography, offering competitions her expert, balanced, and inspiring judgment for the dancers of tomorrow.

Sanka Loembet

✨A dancer and choreographer for over 20 years, Sanka Loembet began his journey in hip-hop with his first crew, L’Antidote, in the south of France. With his team, he took part in battles all over France, participating in prestigious events such as Paris Dance Delight and Juste Debout.

✨️In 2011, he turned toward dancehall, which gradually took precedence over hip-hop in his career. In 2016, he became an urban dance instructor at the Centre des Arts Vivants in Paris. Around the same time, he discovered Afro Style, a genre that would significantly shape his artistic identity as a dancer. He also served as technical director for the musical Independant Queen at the Casino de Paris.

✨️For nearly 10 years, he has regularly been invited to judge hip-hop, dancehall, and Afro battles, as well as competitions such as Les Trophées de la Danse, Summer Dance Time, and Mont2Hip-Hop.

Today, he is the artistic director of three dance schools in Haute-Savoie:

✨️He also shares his passion by teaching Latin dances, including salsa and bachata, in both group and private classes.

✨️His choreographic talent is widely recognized on the international stage. At the Golden Bee competition, his company received multiple special awards:

🏆"Bravo" and "Best Performance" in Vienna, February 2025

✨️These awards reflect his excellence as a choreographer and mentor, confirming his expertise in creating impactful performances. With many years of experience as a judge, he brings a professional and discerning eye to technical skills, originality, and interpretation.

✨️In addition, his experience allows him to work effectively with both children and adults, understanding the different levels and pedagogical approaches suited to each age group. His ability to guide, advise, and assess with kindness and precision makes him an ideal judge for the Golden Bee competition.
